Registered Nurse/ODP - Maternity Theatres

About the Role
As a Registered Nurse or ODP in our Maternity Theatres team you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standard of care for women undergoing clinical or peri-operative procedures. You will be responsible for:
* Scrubbing for elective and emergency maternity theatre cases.
* Providing compassionate, post-operative care to women.
* Collaborating with the Department Manager, Matron, and a multi-disciplinary team to maintain the highest standards of care.
* Assist and care for women undergoing elective and emergency caesarean sections, plus contributing to treating women during clinical emergencies.
* Receive, transfer and position women for clinical procedures.
* Support, monitor and care for women and their babies during clinical procedures and in the postoperative period.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety and comfort of women.
* Store, prepare and administer prescribed drugs to women in accordance with Trust Policy and monitor the effects of drugs on women.
