A globally recognised manufacturer of critical aerospace components is urgently seeking 2 CNC Turners to support a 13-week contract project.
The Role
You’ll be turning flanges in Inconel with use machine tools with Fanuc controllers
Key responsibilities include:
* Working to fine tolerances across a range of materials
* Performing visual and dimensional inspections
* Using precision measuring equipment (shadowgraph, gauges, verniers)
* Operating one or more CNC machines simultaneously
* Ensuring all products meet customer and internal standards (including NADCAP and AS9100)
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be a skilled, detail-focused engineer with experience in precision manufacturing
Essential:
* Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship or equivalent)
* Minimum 6 years’ experience in a precision manufacturing environment (aerospace preferred but not essential)
* Strong experience with Fanuc controls
* Ability to work to tight tolerances and strict quality standards
* Experience working to production targets
* Self-inspection with use of hand tools, eg micrometers, vernier calipers
