Our successful Engineering client in Burton on Trent are recruiting for a Technical AftersalesManager to join them on a permanent basis.
We are seeking a candidate with experience in technical Diagnostic and problem-solving within a technical environment, electrical experience, preferably with controls, motors, and field wiring diagnostics and a background in HVAC.
You will manage the technical aftersales service and a small technical team, as well as the network of sub-contractors. You will also be involved in the new product development process for the company. The role is office based but regular site, intercompany and customer visits are expected.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and develop a small team with a key focus on technical aftersales.
2. Lead on technical queries relating to warranty claims, product installations and commissioning.
3. Provide technical advice to customers and colleagues to ensure correct product application.
4. Manage the day-to-day product and technical activities to ensure KPI's and deadlines are achieved.
5. Plan & organise workloads to ensure operational efficiency in the technical team.
