Operational Risk Lead Analyst - Processing Risk Metrics and Analytics
Location: Citi Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
What you’ll do
* Assist in improving frameworks for measuring risk, assessing control effectiveness and monitoring outcomes and residual risks within the context of the firm’s risk policies, tools and risk governance processes.
* Develop and maintain relationships across the Lines of Defense to collaborate effectively to reduce processing risk and maintain 2nd Line of Defense challenge and oversight.
* Operate with limited direct supervision and exercise independence of judgement.
* Act as Subject Matter Expert to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
* Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
What we’ll need from you
* Demonstrable experience in navigating and networking across a large enterprise.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (metrics and data analysis), PowerPoint (presentation decks), and Word (writing and editing procedural and technical documentation).
* In-depth knowledge and skills in performing data analysis and visualization, preferably in Tableau.
* Strong team player with excellent work ethics, attention to detail and accuracy.
* Quick learner with strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with counterparts in various areas of the organization.
* Strong skills in developing and presenting conclusions to senior managers.
* Attention to detail; capable of delivering high quality work while managing competing priorities.
* Experience in a Risk function is preferred.
* Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.
