PK Education are currently recruiting Supply Cover Supervisors and Sports Coaches to work in a secondary school on North Chesterfield
Opportunities are available on a day-to-day, short-term and long-term basis, offering flexible work to suit your availability.
This role is ideal for individuals with experience working with young people, particularly those with a background in sport, coaching, education, or youth work, who are looking to gain experience in secondary school settings.
Role Responsibilities:
Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher
Delivering pre-set lesson work and ensuring students remain on task
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Supporting students with their learning where appropriate
Acting as a positive role model and maintaining a safe learning environment
For Sports Coaches:
supporting PE lessons, sports activities, and extracurricular sessions when required
Job Requirements:
Experience working with children or young people (essential)
A background in sports coaching, education, youth work, or similar (desirable)
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Confidence supervising groups of secondary-aged students
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility and a professional attitude
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
Eligibility to work in the UK
