Welder fabricator / team leader, paying £17.50 per hour, based in Loughborough LE11.
Our client is looking for an experienced welder/fabricator to assist with the supervision of a team of welder fabricators.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading a small team of fabricators/welders
* Planning and scheduling work to meet project deadlines
* Ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency
* Carrying out welding and fabrication tasks as required (MIG)
* Maintaining tools, equipment, and a clean workspace
The ideal candidate will have:
* Ability to weld and fabricate to a high standard
* Ability to weld up to 10mm
* Previous experience welding and fabricating bridges and gantries
* Previous experience supervising a small team
* More than 3 years of industry experience welding and fabricating mid to heavy gauge mild steel
* Ability to work on their own initiative
