Trainee Service Engineer / Graduate Service Engineer / Mutliskilled Engineer required to join a leading engineering supplier.\n\nThe Successful Trainee Service Engineer / Graduate Service Engineer / Mutliskilled Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, fault finding and maintenance on compressed air equipment including compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and associated compressed air products at customer sites across Midlands with occasional travel to Coventry for training and parts collection.\n\nThe Trainee Service Engineer / Graduate Service Engineer / Mutliskilled Engineer will ideally have hands-on experience or knowledge in electrical and/or mechanical engineering. Preference will be given to candidates with familiarity in electrical fault finding and systems troubleshooting or a mechanical / electrical qualification with a willingness to learn. Full product training provided.\n\nPackage\n£25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience\nCompany van \n25 days holiday plus bank holidays\nCompany pension\nOvertime\nAdditional benefits\n\nTrainee Service Engineer / Graduate Service Engineer / Mutliskilled Engineer Role\nTo provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites.\nThe Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of compressed air systems, nitrogen generators, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air products.\nInstalling compressed air/water & nitrogen pipelines into all forms of the manufacturing industry.\nPerform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment.\nLiaise with various engineering departments.\nWorking at customer sites throughout Midlands with occasional travel to Coventry for training and parts collection.\n\nTrainee Service Engineer / Graduate Service Engineer / Mutliskilled Engineer Requirements\nWillingness to learn complicated electrical / mechanical engineering systems.\nExperience as a Trainee Service Engineer, Apprentice Engineer, Apprentice Technician, Graduate Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Marine Engineer, Entry level Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Field Service Engineer or similar.\nHands-on experience in electrical and/or mechanical domains with a willingness to learn.\nStrong understanding of three-phase electrics and controls, with hands-on experience preferred.\nMechanical or electrical qualification, apprentice trained, FGas, NVQ level 3, city & guilds, HNC, HND or similar would be a plus. \nDetermination to learn the compressed air industry and related fields with enthusiasm for career progression opportunities.\nFlexibility to travel across Midlands with occasional travel to Coventry for training and parts collection
