Sales Specifications Manager (Tiles) The Opportunity: We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic self starter with proven business development and sales experience specifically within the Tile industry. If you have worked within tile or tiling sales that would be ideal. If youre looking for a role where you can combine technical expertise with commercial impact taking ownership of projects, building long-term partnerships and contributing to the growth of a leading British manufacturer wed love to hear from you. This role will cover the South East, so would suit somebody living in the London catchment. You will be required to use your own vehicle, with a car allowance allocated. The Role: Lead the specification of products into defined commercial market sectors including house building, improvement and renovations. Act as a technical expert and trusted authority on product performance, application, compliance, installation, and best practice. Deliver product training, presentations, and technical guidance and documentation to architects, designers, contractors, and specifiers. Identify and develop new business opportunities within target sectors and territories. Develop and manage relationships with key specification influencers, main contractors, regional developers, architects, interior designers and decision makers. Driving sales of our own premium, high-quality materials manufactured in the UK. Attend site meetings, design reviews, showroom appointments, and industry events. Youll Offer: Proven experience in specification or technical field sales within theTLING industry. This is a prerequesite for this role. Strong technical understanding of building materials (tiles, surfaces, stone, or architectural finishes preferred). Comfortable acting as a technical authority and trusted advisor. Strong relationship-building, influencing, and presentation skills. Commercially driven, self-motivated, and well organised. Be IT literate, with good MS Office skills A full (ideally clean) driving licence is essential, and your own car for business miles. (A car allowance of £5000 per annum will be allocated).
