Job Description
Library and Student Services are looking to recruit a Disability Advisor to coordinate support across the University, for a busy caseload of students with a wide range of disabilities and long-term conditions.
Our Disability Advisors make recommendations for adjustments regarding access to courses and facilities across the University to meet individual needs, as well as providing specialist advice to disabled applicants.
Successful applicants will ideally be educated to degree level, able to work collaboratively with professional and academic colleagues across the University and have experience in working with disabled students in higher or further education.
The role will be based across our City Centre and Headingley campuses, with the opportunity for some remote working. Our Disability Advice team sits within our wider Library and Student Services team.
Leeds Beckett is a large, modern and inclusive university with a diverse student profile. We are committed to ensuring all our disabled students receive the support they require to succeed in their studies.
