Kenneth Brian Associates are excited to be working with a large client on a contracting basis to support a deployment project. We are looking for a field based network/telecoms engineer to visit clients sites and conduct audits/site surveys across the south of England. Were seeking candidates with a background in structured cabling and network troubleshooting supporting BT appointments.
Role responsibilities:
* Visiting client sites daily, auditing and completing/creating floor plans site surveys and taking photos to reflect network layouts
* Liaising with the site contact arranging access for site visits required
* Installing & configuring wireless access points
* Create change control for the physical site changes including AP installation, Paxton changes, Printer changes etc.
* Attending BT appointments on customer sites
* Installing, terminating, and testing network cabling
* Troubleshooting network issues and ensuring connectivity
What we're looking for:
1. Proven experience in network/telecoms engineering
2. Experience conducting site surveys and audits
3. Knowledge of IP ranges and various internet line types ethernet, SoGEA & SOADSL
