Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service in a vibrant atmosphere. The Bar Manager will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring that the bar operates efficiently while contributing to the overall success of our establishment.
Duties
* Supervise and lead bar staff, providing training and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
* Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed while minimising waste.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly in relation to food safety and alcohol service.
* Develop and implement creative drink menus that align with current trends and customer preferences.
* Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless service between the bar and kitchen.
* Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues promptly to enhance the guest experience.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to hygiene standards.
* Assist in budgeting and financial management related to bar operations.
Skills
* Proven leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams within a hotel or restaurant environment.
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to beverage service.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and customers.
* Experience in food preparation or culinary operations is advantageous.
