- Salary: £38,220 to £48,226

Job responsibilities:
- Lead on all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting in line with the school’s 3–5-year strategic plan
- Prepare and present monthly financial reports to the Executive Leadership Team, providing clear insights and recommendations
- Manage procurement processes and supplier contracts to ensure value for money and compliance with regulations
- Oversee payroll, invoicing, and financial controls to maintain accuracy and transparency
- Support income generation initiatives, including lettings and commercial activities, to enhance the school’s financial sustainability
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practice in school finance and governance
- Line manage a Premises manager fostering a collaborative and high-performing team
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in financial management within an educational or public sector setting
- Strong understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance requirements
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Highly organised with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office applications
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance operational detail and long-term planning
