Randstad is thrilled to announce an incredible opportunity with one of our partner schools, Hall Mead School, which is looking to welcome new Teaching Assistants starting this April. No prior experience is necessary, but we're seeking candidates who are ambitious, keen to learn, and possess a warm and engaging personality. You'll work closely with children who may have disengaged from the education system, making a real difference in their lives.
Requirements for a SEN Teaching Assistant:
1. Willingness to work with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
2. Support SEN pupils with behavioural needs.
3. Proactive and able to stay busy throughout the day.
4. Collaborate effectively within a large team and continuously develop skills.
5. Engaging and outgoing demeanour, particularly with hard-to-reach pupils and those facing challenges such as disengagement or mental health difficulties.
6. Flexible approach to job responsibilities throughout the day.

7. Rated as "Outstanding" by Ofsted.
8. Part of the East London Academy Trust (ELAT), offering opportunities for growth and teacher training.

21. Overseas Police Check required for candidates residing outside the UK for more than 6 months in the past 5 years.
