A well-established and highly regarded commercial law firm in Belfast is seeking to appoint a Head of Family & Matrimonial to lead and grow its specialist family law practice.
This is a senior strategic appointment offering the opportunity to shape and develop a high-quality private family law offering within a progressive and ambitious firm.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
* Lead and develop the Family & Matrimonial team
* Drive the strategic direction and growth of the practice
* Manage a varied caseload of high-quality private family matters
* Play an active role within the wider leadership team
* Mentor and develop junior lawyers
* Contribute to business development and client relationship management
The role offers genuine autonomy, influence at senior level, and the platform to further build an already reputable practice.
Candidate Profile
You will:
* Be an experienced Family & Matrimonial solicitor (Senior Associate, Legal Director or Partner level)
* Have strong technical expertise across divorce, financial remedies, private children matters, and ancillary relief
* Demonstrate leadership capability and commercial awareness
* Be confident in business development and growing a practice
* Have strong client management skills and a reputation for delivering high-quality advice
A following would be advantageous but is not essential for the right individual with a clear growth plan.
