Management Accountant, Permanent, £35,000-£45,000, Warwick, On-SiteGreenwell Gleeson are working exclusively with an exciting fast growing business based in Coventry to recruit a Part Qualified Management Accountant.Reporting into the CFO, your responsibilities will include:Management AccountsPrepare and analyse monthly management reports. Provide variance analysis. On some of the Group companies (split between two management accountants).Financial record keepingProcess and pay invoices, allocate payments and send remittances.
Record receipts and payments.Balance sheet reconciliationsVerify the balances in the general ledger and match against supporting documentationIdentify discrepancies, data entry errors and missing transactions.Ensure the numbers are reliable and accurately reflect the company position.Accruals and prepayments, ensure that the prepayments reflect the future cost. On accruals ensure missing items for the P&L are reflected in the current period. Bank reconciliationsImport transactions, match transactions to payments and receipts.
Transfer transactions via inter company to Maintenance and Group. Preparing weekly payment runs for suppliers.Post entries from Clover reports on sales.Credit cardsDownload transactions and post entries. Obtain receipts for all transactions.
VAT returnsPrepare and process the Group VAT return Fixed AssetsMaintain the register, Run monthly depreciation report.
