Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Operator to join our team in Dundee, United Kingdom. As an Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production processes, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high-quality standards.
* Operate and monitor various machinery and equipment in the production line
* Perform assembly tasks for different products and components
* Conduct quality checks and inspections on finished products
* Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
* Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency
* Prepare and handle materials required for production processes
* Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major problems to supervisors
* Maintain accurate records of production activities and completed work
* Adapt to changing production schedules and priorities as needed
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent (SPM)
* 0-1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
* Basic competency in operating machinery, with a willingness to learn and develop expertise
* Strong attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset
* Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
* Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
* Basic math skills for measurements and simple calculations
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
* Flexibility to work in different shifts as required
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
* Quick learner with a positive attitude towards acquiring new skills
