Overview
Trading Manager role at Morrisons. We make Morrisons: from a Bradford market stall to the UK’s fifth largest supermarket, serving customers across almost 500 stores and online home delivery.
We’re recruiting a high performing Trading Manager to help our business to continue to grow and succeed. Responsible for ensuring our stores are fully stocked with high availability and upholding legal and safety standards to deliver an excellent customer experience. Reporting into the Store Manager, you will lead a team and collaborate with other store management to drive performance.
Responsibilities
* Lead the team to the very best standard and strive to ensure the best shopping experience for every customer
* Plan and organise current promotions or in-store events
* Listen and respond to customer feedback and react accordingly
* Ensure market leading availability across the store
* Work with other Managers in store to lead a supportive and performance driven department
* Efficiently manage all people routines, including scheduling, absence, performance and talent conversations
* Deliver training to ensure the team have the capability and confidence to perform their roles
* Motivate and lead colleagues across various departments
* Identify and develop talent within the department
* Build effective relationships with other operating departments
* Lead colleagues to deliver outstanding performance against department targets
* Take a leadership role within the store
* Plan resources thoroughly to support store operations
About You
