Duties
* Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
* Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations as needed.
* Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills to process payments efficiently.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any customer inquiries or concerns.
* Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
* Assist in stock management by monitoring inventory levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, showcasing familiarity with hospitality practices.
* Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage positively with customers and create a welcoming environment.
* Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash effectively.
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
