Position Overview:
We seek a talented Concept Artist to contribute to Puyi’s creative ecosystem. This role requires creativity and strategic thinking to influence our brands and collaborations.
Show us portfolios filled with narrative ambition, including eyewear prototypes, fashion film vignettes, or spatial design manifestos. Examples include:
* A couture lookbook inspired by Ming Dynasty armor with modernist tailoring
* Cinematic storyboards framing optical wear as cultural symbols
* Interactive installations exploring vision and identity
The Concept Artist will work closely with the Brand Director on content development, synthesizing insights into compelling concepts for campaigns and brand experiences. Success requires balancing creativity with strategic rigor to align with Puyi’s visual identity and long-term vision.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Brand Director to develop concepts for projects across departments, including Product Development, Store Development, and Brand Management.
* Lead creative projects and develop thematic ideas and content assets.
* Visually communicate ideas through sketches, mood boards, and presentations to gain stakeholder buy-in.
* Address queries and feedback during project implementation.
* Guide the creative and design process for campaigns and marketing initiatives, ensuring quality, budget, and deadlines are met.
* Identify emerging trends in luxury fashion and digital innovation.
* Potential involvement in video storyboarding and editing.
* Collaborate with digital marketing and tech teams to create engaging content.
About the Candidate:
* Bachelor’s degree in Design, Liberal Arts, Fine Arts, or related fields.
* 2-5 years of experience in creative and brand design, with successful marketing communications.
* High-end, luxury design portfolio.
* Creative storytelling and design passion.
* Knowledge of digital trends and technologies preferred.
* Detail-oriented, able to work in fast-paced environments.
* Excellent presentation skills, both visual and verbal.
* Strong graphic design skills.
* Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented.
* Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
