Job Title: Lead Nurse - Learning Disabilities Service
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to undertake the role of Lead Nurse in the Learning Disabilities Service. This is a fixed-term contract of 12 months.
About the Service
The Fife Learning Disabilities Service is a dynamic service providing support across Fife through community and inpatient settings, primarily from Lynebank Hospital, Dunfermline. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Participate in national developmental processes within the learning disability nursing portfolio and lead initiatives in the Fife learning disability service.
2. Implement appropriate national directives.
3. Support service redesign processes within the wider mental health and learning disability service.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience of operational management at Band 7 level.
* Extensive knowledge of learning disability services.
* Experience of leading teams.
