That’s why we need someone who sees the product through our users’ eyes, manages business needs, and will champion the importance of Content Design as an essential part of a product team. Someone who can bring creativity and clarity to every touchpoint and can turn complex concepts into something simple, human, and engaging. We're looking for an exceptional Content Designer with an interest in health technology that solves real-world user problems. You can flex between prototyping new products, designing end-to-end experiences and creating compelling microcopy such as feature overviews, error messages and pushes. Alongside your place on our market-leading content design team you’d be working within Flo’s Commercial (Monetisation) stream creating engaging content that is both user friendly and inspires action. Your job? Explaining the value of Flo through clear, concise and compelling content that activates our users to subscribe to Flo Premium. Essentially, your content should make taking out or renewing a Flo subscription a no-brainer for people everywhere.You’d be working closely with Product Designers, Product Managers, User Researchers, Analysts, as well as our Legal and Medical teams - so passion for collaboration is key. We need someone who is able to hit the ground running and is excited to get stuck in on some exciting upcoming projects. If this sounds like you, we can’t wait to hear from you. Your Experience Must have:
1. Content Design expertise and attention to detail
2. A love for small, impactful, content-first experiments
3. Ability to work on various projects in a high pace environment
4. Experience co-designing with product designers in collaborative tools
5. Brilliant communication skills – with the ability to influence others and advocate for Content Design at all levels — from product designers to product managers to senior stakeholders
6. A portfolio that demonstrates impact
7. Because you’ll be part of the Commercial stream, an interest in growth and revenue is essential
Nice to have:
8. Experience working on mobile apps and with a complicated subject like health is preferred
9. Experience working with engaging marketing copy is preferred
10. Experience designing for web would be a plus
What you'll be doing You'll be responsible for:
11. Create clear, concise, and compelling content for new features, widgets, paywalls and more
12. Collaborate with Product Designers, Researcher, Analysts and Product Managers to define new experiences across our website
13. Come up with fresh ideas to improve existing user experiences and bring in new revenue streams
14. Advocate for Content Design both on your team and in the wider community.
15. Proactively seek areas for improvement, working with all content disciplines and across other product streams to find solutions
16. Work closely with Localisation to ensure messaging and tone of voice is kept consistent and makes sense across different markets
17. Evangelise for human-centred design, readability, accessibility and creativity.
18. Help other Content Designers develop their skills, by sharing best practice, collaboration, and training
#LI-CC1 Salary Range - gross per year£52,250—£60,000 GBP
