Job Description Summary
Deliver straightforward administrative and basic business services in Customer Service. Handle requests via mail, phone, or in person regarding insurance claims and policies. Respond to inquiries from policyholders, providers, and others, providing information and assistance. Conduct research to address inquiries and interpret policy provisions to provide effective responses. Mail or route claim forms and supporting documents for final processing. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to interpret policy provisions, and the capacity to respond independently to inquiries, grievances, complaints, or appeals, which are generally routine in nature. A good understanding of Customer Service and business processes is essential, with work conducted under close supervision according to clearly defined procedures.
