We are excited to offer a fantastic FTC opportunity for an Assistant Commercial Manager to join our dynamic AIW team at Pontypridd. Hybrid working, 37.5 hrs per week.
In this role, you will support the Commercial Manager by creating commercial reports, including CVRs. Review and process subcontractor payment applications and prepare payment applications for clients. Issue contractual notifications to manage risks and maintain internal risk registers. Update trackers and maintain records for audit purposes.
This role offers you the unique opportunity to work on CVL, currently the biggest investment for TI in Wales, undergoing transformation of the services provided.
What You'll Do:
1. Support the commercial manager by generating accurate commercial reports, including CVRs.
2. Review subcontractor payment applications and prepare client payment requests.
3. Issue contractual notifications to proactively manage risks.
4. Maintain and update internal risk registers.
5. Keep detailed records for audit purposes.

What You'll Bring:
* Relevant qualification in quantity surveying, commercial, or related field is desirable but not mandatory; a positive approach aligned with our values.
* Experience in commercial management or quantity surveying, or transferable skills.
* Strong commercial and financial acumen.
* Basic knowledge of contract forms and legislation.
* Good communication and negotiation skills.
