Site Operations Manager (KSE- KSF £27852-£33752 depending on experience)
37 hours per week Monday to Friday 6.30am to 15.00pm
We are looking to recruit a friendly, enthusiastic and highly committed Site Operations Manager who will ensure that our children learn in a safe, clean and healthy environment. You will be an important member of our school team and have a positive approach to this key role.
Responsibilities
* Management of Site Supervisor, Cleaning staff and Casual General Assistant.
* Manage all Health and Safety aspects including all Risk Assessments.
* Being the primary key holder for the site and ensure site security of premises (including occasional out of hours).
* Routine repairs and maintenance tasks and porterage duties.
* Liaison with Contractors for all site projects including ordering materials and supplies.
* Keeping the School spotlessly clean and tidy, well-lit and heated.
* Undertake cleaning duties due to short term absence.
* Respond to incidents at short notice.
* Be on the alarm call out list and respond to out of hours call outs if necessary
What you will need to succeed
* Previous experience as a caretaker or similar.
* Practical skills in maintenance and cleaning.
* Experience of managing Health & Safety.
* Experience of working within a School is desirable.
* A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Full clean driving licence with access to own transport.
* Experience in leading a small workforce is desirable.
* Able to multi-ask in a very busy school environment.
