Primary Class Teacher
Location: Upminster, East LondonSalary: £3,000 - £4,200 per monthContract: Full-time
Veritas Education is delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming, community-focused primary school in Upminster to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Class Teacher for an Easter 2026 start.
This Ofsted-rated 'Good' school is well regarded for its inclusive ethos, strong pastoral care, and engaging curriculum across the primary phase. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a class within the school, delivering high-quality, well-paced lessons that support pupils' academic progress, personal development, and confidence as learners.
This role would suit a teacher who is passionate about primary education, enjoys creating inspiring and purposeful learning environments, and is committed to helping children develop strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and independent learning.
The Ideal Primary Teacher Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essentialExperience teaching within a UK primary school setting (ECTs are encouraged to apply)Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective assessment strategiesA nurturing, patient approach with high expectations for all pupilsExcellent classroom management and organisational skills
Main Responsibilities:
Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the primary curriculumCreating a structured, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environmentAssessing, tracking, and supporting pupil progress to ensure strong learning outcomesWorking collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance pupil development
