HR Advisor – 6 Month FTC
Location: Solihull (Hybrid working – 3 days office / 2 days remote)
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum
We’re recruiting for a HR Advisor to join a well-established logistics business on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast-paced, hands-on HR role where you’ll play a key part in supporting a large operational workforce.
You’ll be part of a collaborative HR team, taking ownership of the Distribution function as a trusted advisor to managers. You’ll provide expert guidance across a broad range of HR matters and help drive consistent, compliant practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead on high-volume Employee Relations cases
2. Provide clear, practical advice to line managers on HR policies and procedures
3. Ensure HR practices are aligned with employment law and internal standards
Attributes required
4. Solid generalist HR experience, ideally gained in logistics, distribution, or a similar fast-moving environment
5. Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
6. Confidence in managing complex ER cases, including those involving union representation
7. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
8. Availability for an October start
