We are looking to recruit a Social Worker for the Children In Care Team within the Social Care Industry. Our client has a well-structured and organised team that are looking to grow their staffing levels. The role offers flexible working hours and has a supportive team culture with regular supervision on cases. Cornwall is embedding a systemic approach and is currently undergoing a number of changes focussed on reducing caseloads and improving outcomes for families. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and supportive team within Cornwall Council Main duties include: Undertake timely assessments and analysis of need and risk, working with families and networks of professionals to create and deliver outcome focussed plans. Ensure that children and young people and carers are aware of their rights and are enabled to participate meaningfully in planning, and in decision making including through the use of independent advocates if required. Provide support and intervention based on best evidence to meet individual child and family needs.
