Your role
* Help plan and prepare nutritionally balanced meals for employees
* Enjoy a better work-life balance with no late nights or split shifts, giving you more time for yourself
* Promote and maintain food hygiene and safety standards
* Carry out risk assessments and keep the kitchen clean and safe
* Support the supervision and development of staff
* Manage kitchen stock and equipment within budget and follow cash handling procedures
This position would also suit a Line Cook, Cook, Assistant Cook or Commis Chef.
Your skills
* Experience working in a catering environment
* Valid food hygiene certificate
* NVQ Level 2 in Hospitality and Catering
* Knowledge of health and safety procedures and confidence using catering machinery
* Excellent cooking skills with an understanding of ingredients and produce
* Good communication and customer care skills
* Awareness of dietary requirements and how food types can affect medication
