The role of the Receptionist is to provide a friendly and efficient reception and admin support service for the Acomb Garth Community Health Care Centre and Askham Bar Community Centre.
You will ensure anefficient and professional reception provision and will work as part of thewider team to ensure a positive patient experience.
NMW Pay Rates:
21 years old and over £12.21 per hour
18-20 years old £10 per hour
Under 18 years old £7.55 per hour
Main duties of the job
Dutiesmay vary from time to time under the direction of the General Manager,dependent on current and evolving Nimbuscare contracts - but these will include:
Providing a reception service for the centre
Interacting and communicating with patients,clinicians and other staff this may involve re-booking appointments,providing advice and assistance
Computer data entry/data allocation andcollation; processing and recording information
Filing and retrieving paperwork both manuallyand electronically
Participate in meetings as required
Escalation of issues to General Manager ifrequired e.g. facilities, H & S
Provide administrative cover in the event ofholiday and sickness
Manageand prioritise own workload
Recogniseand work within own competence
Toprovide and receive routine information verbally or electronically toinform work colleagues and key stakeholders
Todemonstrate a competent level of interpersonal skills when providinginformation
Providepayroll support with invoice processing
Provideadministrative support with monthly reporting submissions
Supportwith rota fill / clinical staffing where appropriate

Qualifications
* Minimum level 2 Maths and English or equivalent (GCSE Grade C or Grade 4 or above)
* 6 months minimum experience in a similar role

* Understand and observe strict confidentiality
* Experience of working within the NHS or general practice

* Ability to travel across various sites when required.
