AWS DevOps Engineer DevOps Engineer South Manchester (Hybrid-working) £50,000 per annum ( excellent benefits package) The Opportunity: We are looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer to help shape, deliver and optimise our client’s AWS cloud environment as part of a major digital transformation programme. This is a high-impact role where you’ll work on complex enterprise-scale projects, enabling organisations to embrace cloud-native, scalable and secure solutions. Skills and Experience: Proven expertise across AWS technologies and infrastructure, including design, build and support. Hands-on experience of Well Architected Reviews within complex or large-scale organisations Practical knowledge of enterprise cloud service establishment, automation, monitoring and support. Strong ability to coach, mentor and work collaboratively with clients. Application migration (e.g. Java, Oracle Forms/Reports, Oracle APEX, JBoss, Oracle DB). Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, iterative approaches). Role and Responsibilities: Lead on the design, configuration, migration and administration of AWS cloud environments. Deliver high-quality design documentation and practical implementation aligned to AWS best practices. Drive the adoption of cloud-native Platform as a Service (PaaS) capabilities to reduce bespoke development, improve scalability and enhance security. Support the transition to DevOps and NoOps ways of working, coaching in-house teams and transferring knowledge to build sustainable capabilities. Play a key role in application migrations from legacy platforms into AWS.
