Role Overview
The Head of Sales will be responsible for designing and executing the company's sales strategy, managing high-value client relationships, and leading a small, dedicated sales team. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, securing major contracts, and delivering revenue growth in line with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a strategic sales plan across target sectors
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities and maximise revenue growth within key accounts
* Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants
* Lead and develop the internal sales team to consistently meet and exceed targets
* Prepare tenders, bids, and manage negotiations for large-scale contracts
* Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
* Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to senior leadership
Candidate Requirements
* Extensive experience in sales leadership
* Demonstrable success in winning contracts and growing revenue
* Strong commercial and negotiation skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement ability
* Knowledge of construction processes, project lifecycles, and tendering
* Proven leadership and team management skills
* Background in quantity surveying, estimating, or project management (desirable)
