Junior Assistant Coach (Voluntary Role)

Commitment: Weekly training sessions (evenings/weekends)
Age Range: 16–21
About the Role
We’re looking for passionate, reliable and motivated young people to join our team as Junior Assistant Coaches. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a professional football environment, develop your coaching skills and make a positive impact on young female players.
What You’ll Do
* Assist a professional coach during weekly training sessions
* Support individual players (1-to-1) under the guidance of the Lead Coach
* Help set up and pack away equipment before and after sessions
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all players at all times
* Represent the Academy by dressing and acting professionally
* Support all Academy staff as requested by the Academy Director and Manager
What We’re Looking For
* A football background – played through youth or school teams
* Some experience in coaching, mentoring, or supervising others (preferred)
* Reliable and available for weekly sessions
* An interest in working with children and supporting their development
* A willingness to learn and gain qualifications (FA coaching badges, Safeguarding, First Aid – support provided)
