Project Manager – South West, Stannah – Join Our Team!

This field‑based role covers the South West and M4 corridor, where you’ll take ownership of delivering lift installation projects from start to finish.
As a Project Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind safe, efficient, high‑quality installations – coordinating teams, supporting customers, and ensuring every project is delivered on time, on budget, and with zero defects. Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30‑17:15, Friday 8:30‑13:30.
Project Manager Responsibilities
* Health & Safety Leadership – Prioritise H&S above all else; ensure compliance, documentation, and escalation where required.
* Project Planning & Scheduling – Assess project requirements, plan weekly workload, coordinate removals, deliveries, and ensure all pre‑start checks are completed.
* Site Management & Quality Control – Conduct prescribed site checks, monitor subcontractor performance, manage outstanding items, and oversee post‑handover warranty period.
* Customer & Stakeholder Coordination – Support Sales/SDO in meetings, manage customer documentation (SOS forms, reports), and maintain clear communication throughout the project.
* Financial & Material Oversight – Protect project margin, price variations, specify and chase required parts, and ensure timely delivery bookings.
Qualifications
* Industry Experience: Background in installing/testing passenger lifts and understanding of lift/building standards and construction sites.
* Qualifications: Relevant engineering (e.g. NVQ3, HNC) and project management certifications (e.g. Prince2, APM), plus CSCS card and health & safety credentials (e.g. IOSH).
* Project Management Skills: Proven experience managing projects with strong time management, organisation, and problem‑solving abilities.
* Technical Proficiency: Able to read technical drawings, use project tools/software (e.g. MS Project, dashboards), and handle documentation effectively.
* Communication & Work Ethic: Clear communicator, self‑motivated, customer‑focused, and capable of working independently.
