We are seeking an ambitious and driven Assistant Lettings Manager to join a high-performing team based in central Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced lettings professional ready to take the next step into a leadership role within a fast-paced and modern residential rental environment. For the right candidate, this role offers a salary of up to £40,000 and there's a requirement to be fully on-site.
The Role
As Assistant Lettings Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing daily lettings operations while supporting a busy team. You'll be responsible for leading the full applicant journey from initial enquiry through to move-in, as well as coordinating tenancy renewals and maintaining compliance standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing and responding to property enquiries, ensuring a high standard of customer service
* Leading the team through the lettings process, from application to move-in
* Overseeing tenancy renewals and supporting rent review processes
* Coordinating property listings across key digital, social, and print marketing platforms
* Working cross-functionally with internal departments to support property readiness and launch timelines
* Ensuring compliance with current lettings legislation and internal policies
About You
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in residential lettings
* Strong understanding of the end-to-end lettings process
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM platforms
* A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership
