The Program Manager is responsible for the development and execution of a portfolio of projects and programs within the organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead multiple project activities throughout their lifecycle to ensure completion within scope, quality, time, and budget constraints.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, resources, work plans, budgets, and timelines for new initiatives.
3. Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and activities.
4. Apply change, risk, and resource management strategies.
5. Address higher scope issues in projects.
6. Assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
7. Ensure goals related to customer satisfaction and team performance are met.
8. Implement and manage changes to achieve project goals.
9. Facilitate transparent communication with stakeholders regarding project issues and decisions.
10. Produce accurate and timely reports on program status.
11. Analyze program risks.
Qualifications:
* University degree (Bachelor's) or equivalent relevant work experience.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks.
* Strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
* Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills.
* High ethical standards and integrity.
* Self-accountability for goals and standards.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills across all organizational levels, including external partners.
Additional Experience:
* Leading a multi-functional global team in defining system and product roadmaps aligned with customer and business priorities.
* Defining business cases for new opportunities.
* Implementing product cost roadmaps.
* Leading change management projects per customer and company requirements.
* Customer-facing project management experience.
* Managing new technology developments in the heavy vehicle industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
* At least 3+ years in Project and/or Program Management.
* Experience in an Agile development environment.
* Experience leading hardware, software, and system development projects.
* Background in automotive or fast-paced technology development environments (preferably electric vehicles).
* Knowledge of cybersecurity and functional safety requirements in the automotive industry.
