Overview
We have an upcoming opportunity for a Assistant Accountant to join us on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a chance to gain valuable experience within a socially conscious organisation, developing a broad range of finance skills over time. We are embracing hybrid working, so if you are successful you can work from home most of the time, however there will be a requirement to attend our sites in South Wales for collaborative working and to forge great relationships with others. We anticipate you\ll be in the office at least 2 days a week.

What you\ll do
You will play an integral role across the Finance team, with a primary focus on financial reporting and preparing the management accounts. You’ll also gain exposure to other areas of finance, including purchase and sales ledger, as well as payroll. Over time, you’ll build the knowledge and experience needed to take on more complex responsibilities within the team. What you\ll need
The successful candidate will have successfully completed AAT Level 4 or have equivalent experience in a finance or accountancy role, enabling you to work towards ACCA or CIMA qualification. You’ll be analytical, detail-oriented, and motivated, with strong communication skills to support the delivery of financial information to senior leaders.
