The Role We are seeking a Group Reporting Accountant to play a pivotal role within our central finance team. This role offers exposure to senior stakeholders and the chance to contribute to high-level decision-making through accurate and timely reporting. Key responsibilities will include: * Preparing consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (UK GAAP / IFRS). * Coordinating with subsidiary finance teams to gather and review financial information. * Producing variance analysis and insightful commentary for management and board reports. * Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes. * Ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial policies. * Managing external audit processes and liaising with auditors and advisors. * Driving continuous improvement in reporting systems and processes. Candidate Profile We are looking for a finance professional who is technically strong, detail-oriented, and proactive. Essential: * Fully qualified or nearly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent. * Experience in group consolidation and statutory reporting. * Knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and preferably IFRS. * Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. * Enthusiasm for process improvement and delivering results under tight deadlines.
