Description End User Services Engineer Leidos is now recruiting for a highly motivated End User Services Engineer, working in a team that provides unparalleled levels of service delivery to our existing and expanding customer base, helping position Leidos as the nationwide supplier of choice across all major outsourced ICT programmes. Leidos is expanding its Information and Communications Technology (ICT) presence significantly in the UK, with an emphasis on Civil Government, Law Enforcement and Critical National Infrastructure ICT programmes. The preferred candidate will need to demonstrate effective application of mobile device management and End User Services Engineer. Employing Intune/Endpoint Manager with an understanding of software release cycles for endpoint technologies and policy management. Applicant must have effective communication skills to maintain cohesive team knowledge. Remedy Knowledge to manage the asset database would be an advantage, adding new data and maintaining existing records. Handling software and hardware procurement, software packaging and deployment with additional handling of a wide array of end user support issues with some project work involved. With provision for technical, logistical and project exposure, the duties may also include providing remote and on-site support. This will also require expectation of low levels of travel between customer sites in South Hampshire. Your passions and experience will help you become a technical specialist and process owner within our programme, including service improvement with future expectations of adding further value to our service offerings. You will be expected to contribute towards the creation and continued maintenance of technical and logistical documentation with provision of material to support the programme. Desired Skills: - Strong knowledge of MECM: Packaging, patch management and software distribution - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Manager / Intune - Strong knowledge of Microsoft O365 Admin - Have experience of working in a ITIL framework - A Understanding of Project Management and Service Management best practices and principles - A good level of experience in current role, able to speak credibly to highly technical individuals and work with them to elicit challenges and find routes to success. - Ability to work effectively in a pressurised environment, remaining focused. - Microsoft Active Directory administration and Group Policy management - Understanding of Ivanti Environment Manager and Application Control Knowledge/Awareness: - Microsoft Office 365 and Windows 10 environments - Microsoft Endpoint Manager /MDM - Microsoft 365 Admin - Cisco Wired and Wireless Networks - Cisco VOIP Systems administration - Windows Server and MS PowerShell - OneDrive - Desktop, Laptop, Mobile and Server hardware - Excellent knowledge of Mobile Software (iOS and Android) - ITIL - Remedy - DNS and DHCP - Microsoft Azure and awareness of cloud computing Teamwork: - Facilitates effective team interaction. - Acknowledges and appreciates each team member's contributions. - Effectively utilises each team member to his/her fullest potential. - Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members. Typical Minimum Education & Experience : - Ideally require a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience / combined education. - Microsoft Qualifications would be advantageous but not a requirement.
