Clinical Administrator

This post is part of a service currently subject to a service improvement and redesign programme, with potential changes to delivery models, roles and structures.
The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support to Clinical and Administrative Teams, coordinating activities with other members of the administration team to maintain an efficient and confidential service. The holder will be aligned to a specific clinical team and must work flexibly to respond to service needs, including covering other teams at various sites as directed to ensure continuity of a quality service.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to Clinical and Administrative Teams.
* Coordinate activities with other admin team members to maintain an efficient and confidential service.
* Work flexibly with specific clinical teams, covering other teams on various sites as directed to ensure continuity of quality service.
* Communicate professionally with staff, service users, visitors and carers.
* Use Microsoft Office packages and maintain a good telephone manner.
* Support diary management and assist in meeting minute taking.
Qualifications and Experience
* NVQ Level 3 in Customer Care or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
* Demonstrable commitment to continuous personal development.
* Aware of issues in the Mental Health Network.
* Knowledge of administrative procedures and practice.
* Previous experience as a Secretary/Administrator, including diary management.
* Experience in a fast‑moving, confidential, sensitive, deadline‑driven environment.
* Experience supporting and minuting meetings.
