An opportunity has arisen for an experienced clinical expert with leadership qualities to lead a team of Nurse/ODP practitioners as a Band 6.
Preferred candidates should possess clinical expertise within theatres of at least 5 years and be dual trained in scrub/anaesthetics skills.
The service seeks a practitioner who prioritizes high-quality, person-centered care within the theatre environment.
Key responsibilities include care planning, teamwork, clinical leadership, communication, policy and procedure implementation, and education/mentorship of staff and students.
This post supports 24/7 service delivery within the North Sector theatres, requiring a flexible skill set.
You will lead a fast-paced theatre, managing patient care and staff to support flexible service delivery. Collaboration with the Senior Charge Nurse to meet departmental targets is essential.
The role involves working flexible shifts, including day shifts, night shifts, weekends, and out-of-hours emergency hub cover.
It is essential to demonstrate continual professional development, IT skills, good communication skills, and enthusiasm for working in a theatre setting.
