Sevron is seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Gardener to join our dedicated team. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who thrives outdoors, takes pride in their work, and enjoys being part of a collaborative and professional environment.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the ongoing care, presentation, and health of gardens, turf, and landscaped areas across a diverse portfolio, including commercial properties, display homes, open space parklands, and council green spaces.
Key Responsibilities
Lawn care including hand and ride-on mowing
Brushcutting and minor tree pruning
Weed control (spraying and manual removal)
Garden bed maintenance: planting, mulching, pruning, hedging, and fertilising
Turf installation and general garden clean-up
Pest and disease monitoring and treatment
Clearing paths and debris using hand and backpack blowers
Equipment Operation
Ride-on and push mowers, brush cutters, hedge trimmers, and blowers
Towing trailers for transporting equipment, green waste, and materials between job sites
You’ll also assist with small-scale landscaping projects, such as soil preparation and planting, and work closely with supervisors to maintain high horticultural and safety standards.
What We’re Looking For
Competency in operating landscaping machinery
A proactive attitude with a strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Current driver’s licence (mandatory) – trailer towing experience preferred
Relevant qualifications in horticulture or landscaping (advantageous but not essential)
