Job Description
This role involves supporting current automated manufacturing processes and equipment, as well as leading continuous improvement projects to enhance overall efficiency. As a key member of the Advanced Manufacturing Engineer team, you will develop and implement cutting-edge controls improvements.
You will collaborate with the Manufacturing Engineering and NPI teams to design and implement automated solutions that drive process improvement strategies, focusing on uptime, quality, and cycle time reduction. This includes developing solutions to complex automation challenges and providing expertise to the plant maintenance team.
A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, along with relevant experience, is required. You should have a high level of proficiency in working with PLC and robot automation in a manufacturing environment, as well as strong skills in root cause analysis and 8D methodology.
