Description How will you contribute? • Work collaboratively with the Resource Planning Manager to lead the development of effective labour plans for each warehouse shift, ensuring alignment with operational strategy and business needs · Partner with the site leadership team to highlight key planning risks and opportunities, offering solutions and driving forward initiatives · Analyse historical data, forecasts, and planning assumptions to identify future resource requirements and recommend adjustments for absence, customer demand, and seasonal peaks · Monitor daily labour variances and ensure accurate and agile resource plans are maintained · Use planning and performance tools to track downtime, analyse site performance, and support data-driven decision-making · Provide timely and insightful KPI reporting, dashboard updates, and planning insights to support meetings, operational reviews, and performance forums · Oversee agency labour usage, ensuring daily and weekly requirements are efficiently met and reconciled against hours and FTE targets · Support the Resource Planning Manager with the day-to-day leadership, development, and engagement of the local planning team · Act as a key liaison between departments, ensuring consistent and clear communication of planning information across the site · Champion innovation and continuous improvement within the planning team, identifying and implementing enhancements to planning processes · Offer support and guidance to planning teams across the network, helping to build capability and share best practices What will you bring? · Well-organised and analytical with a sound knowledge of the principles of warehouse operations · Good knowledge and understanding of MS Excel. · High attention to detail · Comfortable leading and motivating a team · Customer-focused with excellent communication skills · Organised and the ability to prioritise workload to ensure that all deadlines are hit · Ability to influence and persuade others · Confident problem solver
