This is a hands-on leadership position that’s perfect for someone with food industry experience and strong people-management skills. You don’t need to come from a dairy background - what matters most is your ability to lead a team, manage operations, and bring energy and enthusiasm to the role.
Responsibilities
* Work with our team to set up and manage the day-to-day operations of our new artisan butter facility.
* Support the planning and implementation of workflows, production processes, and systems.
* Manage and motivate a small team, fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
* Work with our production manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth operations from raw materials to the final product.
* Work closely with our group management team on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
* Contribute ideas and energy to help grow the business and bring our artisan products to more people.
Skills and Qualifications
* Experience in the food industry (any category) and/or proven experience managing a team.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* Initiative and a willingness to learn new processes.
* Commitment to high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.
* Previous experience in food production or manufacturing.
* Familiarity with HACCP or food safety management systems (training can be provided).
