ICT Apprentice role at Primary Goal. Join DGITS — a dynamic MSP specialising in Office 365 and Azure Cloud. This 15-month apprenticeship provides hands-on IT experience with a focus on cloud services and IT support.
What you’ll learn
* Microsoft 365 and Azure fundamentals
* Cloud service delivery and virtual network management
* Operating systems, hardware basics, and remote device support
* Backup solutions, disaster recovery, and security best practices
* Network troubleshooting, VPNs, and firewall configuration
* IT support methodologies aligned with real client environments
Training & Development
This 15-month apprenticeship combines flexible online learning with live sessions from cloud experts. You’ll work closely with your coach, logging 6+ hours weekly off-the-job training that includes real workplace projects, problem-solving, and professional assessments.
Your role at DGITS
* Provide frontline IT support to our clients, resolving issues quickly and securely
* Manage and support Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
* Assist in network maintenance, cloud backups, and security configurations
* Build strong customer relationships by delivering excellent service
* Develop a professional portfolio that leads to industry-recognised qualifications

The training you'll be provided with
* Comprehensive introductory modules to technical concepts
* Level 3 Information Communications Technician apprenticeship standard
* Training for all pathways of your IT career (support technician, network technician, digital communications technician)
* Specialising in a portfolio of evidence for the Support Technician pathway
* e-learning training materials
* Bi-weekly virtual classroom training on all options of the apprenticeships
* Access to virtual labs to develop technical competency
* Monthly work-based coaches visits and competency checks
* 9 am – 5 pm Support desk for technical support
* Personal Learning and Thinking Skills and Key Skills development
* Option for vendor and technical certificates - e.g. CompTIA
Working Week
Full-time Monday to Friday – Working hours 9:00am – 5:30pm. In person at the Coventry Office.
Salary
£20,000
Desired Qualifications
GCSE English and Maths grade 4 (or above), or Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths.
Expected Duration
15 months and 4 Months End Point Assessment
Career progression
This is a great opportunity to develop skills that will enhance your networking career. On passing your Primary Goal apprenticeship, you will gain professional recognition for the Register of IT Technician (RITTech). We also offer a progressive step onto our Level 4 Network Engineer apprenticeship programme in some cases.
