Job Title: Key Account Executive
Location: Redditch
We are currently looking for an Key Account Executive who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative sales environment. The successful candidate will take ownership of front-line sales enquiries, order processing, and master data accuracy – supporting key clients and contributing to the smooth running of commercial operations.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in internal sales, key account coordination, or similar, particularly within the industrial or electrical products space.
Key Responsibilities
Handle front-line customer enquiries, including:
Price and delivery guidance
Serial number checks
Offering stocked alternatives
Issuing formal quotations
Process and manage sales orders from start to completion
Review and release supporting documentation (technical sheets, certifications, schedules, etc.)
Maintain client-specific e-commerce platforms (where applicable)
Support contract order processing (with relevant training/experience)
Ensure accurate and up-to-date client and product master data
Maintain business partner remarks, pricing, catalogue numbers, and logistical details
Collaborate closely with internal teams to maintain item records and pricing data
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with both clients and colleagues
Provide support and guidance to peers where needed
Assist with client visits and review meetings
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A relevant qualification (CIPS or IoSCM Level 3+) or experience in a similar role.
3+ years of experience in a similar role (internal sales, order management, account coordination)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A calm, professional approach under pressure
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a customer service focus
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (SAP experience is a plus)
