Job Summary
A Personal Assistant is required to accompany and support a young man (29 years old) at his placement at Jennyruth Workshops, just outside Ripon.
Responsibilities
Support the young man in participating in various activities such as the paint shop, packaging, woodworking, etc. Work alongside him in other groups and assist in dictating his typing needs.
Requirements
* Must be a dog lover, as the young man attends with his guide dog.
* Must be able to drive, as the workshop is located rurally about 3 miles from Ripon’s centre.
Hours & Pay
The assistant will work from 10am to 4pm on Tuesdays and Fridays. Hourly rate is £13.79 with a mileage allowance of 45p per mile.
