About the Role
As Teacher of History, you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to contribute to KS5 depending on experience. You will deliver well-structured lessons that develop:
* Secure historical knowledge across a range of periods and themes
* Disciplinary thinking, including causation, significance, and change over time
* Source analysis and interpretation through structured practice
* Strong extended writing through modelling and purposeful feedback
* GCSE success through deliberate practice and clear exam technique
You will work closely with colleagues to plan effectively, share resources and ensure pupils experience a well-sequenced curriculum that supports long-term understanding.
