The Purpose of the Role of Area Sales Manager - Welding Equipment & Consumables:
This role involves selling a wide range of welding equipment, welding consumables, abrasives, and PPE used in welding and metal fabrication shops across East, West, and South Yorkshire. Customers range from SMEs to blue-chip manufacturers. You will have an established customer base to grow sales and increase wallet share, alongside focusing on acquiring new customers.
Candidate Requirements:
* Must have sold into manufacturing / industrial markets
* Enjoys a high-activity field sales role and engaging with customers face-to-face
* Excellent relationship and account management skills
* Comfortable with door-to-door sales and winning new business
* Driving license & experience with CRM systems
