Electronics Technical Manager
Location: Nottinghamshire
Employment: Permanent
Schedule: Day shifts Monday—Thursday 8:30am‑5pm; Friday 8:30am‑2pm
Salary: £40,000 per annum (starting)
We are currently hiring a technical manager for an electronics business in the Nottingham area, to join their team and to take ownership of engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the bridge between design engineering, manufacturing, and the customer
* Take ownership of technical direction of engineering projects
* Oversee the delivery of electronic products
* Lead the full cycle of product development
* Manage a team of electronics operatives
* Ensure designs are optimised for manufacturability, cost, and reliability
* Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
* Push continuous improvement across engineering and production processes
Qualifications
* Experience working within an electronics manufacturing environment
* Previous experience within contract manufacturing
* Previous leadership or team management experience
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacture
